Livestock Philippines 2015 to Focus on AEC 2015

In preparation for the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC), the Philippines has launched its national single window programme which would speed up customs processing for importers and exporters and will also enhance transparency and efficiency in transactions. The Philippines just recently reduced tariffs for agricultural products, having a small 0.1 percent average tariff rate, thus giving local stakeholders better business opportunities by having lower production costs such as getting inexpensive raw materials and farm inputs.
