Mr. Clarence Andrion is a licensed chemical engineer, currently working as a Trade-Industry Development Specialist at the Bureau of Philippine Standards of the Department of Trade and Industry. He is a distinguished alumnus of the University of the Philippines – Diliman, where he graduated with honors achieving a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering and a master’s degree in energy engineering. Mr. Andrion has extensive experience in conducting studies and evaluating technical research on products for standardization. He is also responsible for coordinating and facilitating testing of products and methods to check standard parameters and requirements, and to generate baseline data which supports the adoption of limits and values set in the national standards as well as recommending programs on specialized fields of products for standardization.
Ms. Catherine Joaquin is a Civil Engineer and an Environmental and Sanitary Engineer. Prior to joining the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), she accumulated nearly 12 years of experience working with the Local Water Utilities Administration (LWUA) and the Department of Health (DOH) under Environmental Sanitation. Additionally, she has worked as an Environmental and Sanitary Engineer Consultant for the World Bank through the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) under the Manila Wastewater Management Project. Currently, she serves as one of the esteemed Board of Directors of the Philippine Society of Sanitary Engineers (PSSE) – Central Luzon Chapter, and holds an advisory role as a Board Member for the National University's Master of Science in Sanitary Engineering program.
