Be informed on the emerging issues on food safety!

In March 2022, the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations released a foresight report called "Thinking About the Future of Food Safety". The report highlights the potential food safety concerns regarding eight major global drivers and trends, such as climate change, changing consumer behavior, new food sources and production systems, urban farming, microbiome science, technological and scientific innovation, the circular economy, and food fraud.

In celebration of the Food Safety Awareness Week this October, Glenwood Technologies International, Inc. (GTI), invited Mr. Sridhar Dharmapuri, Senior Food Safety and Nutrition Officer of the FAO Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific, to give insights on this report for us to be well-informed on the emerging issues on food safety. Mr. Dharmapuri will also discuss the role of FAO in addressing the food sector issues as well as the plans and programs of their organization in relation to food safety. Additionally, Ms. Rhea Esperanza, Glenwood's Technical Services Associate, will be joining us on this webinar to discuss the latest innovations and testing tools in ensuring food safety in your respective facilities.
