Due to the on-going coronavirus pandemic, people have been extremely cautious with regard to their activities. Many opt to have groceries and take-out food delivered to their homes for the sake of convenience and personal safety, as opposed to going out and risking contraction of the dreaded COVID-19.
Keep yourself and your loved ones safe and healthy while also enjoying delivered prepared meals by following these tips:
1. Examine the box and packaging. "Keep Refrigerated" or "Keep Frozen" stickers should be seen on the box if you order perishable food.
3. Wash your hands properly. By doing so, the risk of foodborne illness and other infections is reduced.
3. Make sure your kitchen utensils are well-cleaned before use. There is always a possibility of utensils being contaminated with harmful microorganisms so this must be observed.
4. Consume your delivered food as soon as possible, microorganisms can spread rapidly if food is left at unsafe temperatures for more than 2 hours.
