“Jollibee Foods Corporation (JFC) created its internal model of Food Safety & Quality Management Systems benchmarked against internationally recognized standards. This strategy is strongly supported by top executives and augmented with a direction to build a pool of Internal Quality Assessors, technically equipped and skilled in conducting compliance audits among key vendor partners across the globe. The comprehensive Quality Management Systems (QMS) audit covers the entire value chain, despite the varying food laws and regulations across regions and countries. JFC also deployed a quality policy requiring all vendors to comply with best-in-class Food Safety Systems.
In 2023, the Jollibee Group's best practices were recognized with a 7-Star Rating for its outstanding Food Safety and Quality management strategy at the 9th International Best Practice Competition (IBPC). Additionally, JFC received a Special Category Award as the Best in Process Management and Improvement.”
